「陸続き」ですが、
be connected by land→陸によってつながっている
と言えますよ。
〈例〉
Asia and North America were connected by land.→アジアと北米大陸は陸続きでした。
Britain used to be connected by land to Europe during the Ice Age.→氷河期には、イギリスはヨーロッパ本土と陸続きでした。
The Crimean peninsula is connected by land to Ukraine.→クリミア半島はウクライナと陸続きです。

ここの「陸続きの国」は to border other countries のように border を動詞として使うと自然で良いかと思います。
