事前に図書館で借りて内容がよかったら買うって英語でなんて言うの？

気になる本が本屋になかったから、
図書館で借りて、内容がよかったら買う

と説明したいです。

意味を一部変えました。「内容がよかったら」よりは「気に入れば」の方が英語では自然な表現になるので、そうしました。

I get it at the library → 図書館で借りる
ですが、get の代わりにborrowでもいいです。

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーIf there is a  book I'm interested in and I don't see it at the bookstore, I'll  borrow it from the library first.  If I like it, I'll order a copy at the bookstore.
「本屋に興味のある本が売ってなかったら、まず図書館で借りて、おもしろかったら本屋で注文する」
to borrow a book で「本を借りる」
