My eyes are bigger than my stomach.
英語の慣用句です。お腹より目が大きいが直訳です。つまり、目で見て『美味しそう！食べたい！』と思うから注文しますが、結局目で見た物を全てお腹に入れません。
言いたい事を直訳して普通に言うなら
I always order more than I can eat.
いつも食べきれる分より多く注文してしまいます・・・
腹八分が大事ですね。
All things in moderation.
I always order one plate too many, so I'll be more careful from now on.
この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
ーI always order one plate too many, so I'll be more careful from now on.
「いつも一皿注文しすぎるから、次からは気をつけよう」
to order one plate too many で「一皿注文しすぎる」
one plate too many の代わりに次のようにも言えます。
ーone dish more than I can handle
「食べられるより一品多い」
