他に使われている表現を紹介します。
英語のネイティブは時々nightcapという語を使います。
nightcap(ナイトキャップ）は、「夜寝る前に飲む酒」という意味で、そのお酒は基本的にウィスキーを示すことが多いです。
また、「ウィスキーはロックがいい」というのは、このようにいいます：
I like to drink whiskey on the rocks.
Whiskey on the rocks is really good.
Im going to bed after having my whiskey because I'm tired.
I'm tired. I'll have some whiskey and head to bed.
どちらも同じ意味ですが、２番目の
I'm tired. I'll have some whiskey and head to bed はとてもカジュアルでストレートな言い方です。
Head to bed -「 ベッドに行く」= 寝る
と言う意味です。
友人とのカジュアルな会話の場合こちらの言い方の方が伝わりやすいかもしれません。
I'm going to bed after having my whiskey because I'm tired は少し長い文章になってしまいますが、どんな相手にも使える言い方です。
同僚などとの会話でも使えます。
I'm tired so I'll have some whiskey and go to bed.
