勉強する目的がわからなくて、勉強する気にならないって英語でなんて言うの？

高校生の日常会話です。
こういう場合、I don't know〜と言うのですか？　それとも、I'm not sure〜と言うのですか？

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーI don't know why I have to study, so I don't feel like studying.
「なんで勉強しないといけないかわからないから、勉強する気にならない」

ーI don't understand the purpose of studying, so I don't feel motivated to study at all.
「勉強する目的がわからないから、全然勉強する気にならない」

ここでは I don't know ..., I'm not sure ... または I don't understand ... などが使えます。
