夢に縛られて視野が狭くなるって英語でなんて言うの？

夢に縛られて being wrapped up in achieving a dream- wrapped up in~は〜に縛られてと言う意味でよく使う表現です。例えば仕事に縛られるーto be wrapped up in workなど (私の)視野が狭くなる my perspective becomes narrower ちょっと直訳的ですが、普通に通じますね。 こう言う話でよく見る表現はI ignore other important things in life（目標、夢以外の大事なことを無視していく）ですので、 夢や目標をもつことは素晴らしいことですが、それに縛られすぎて視野が狭くなることのないようにしたいです。 It's good to have dreams and set goals, but I want to try to not get so wrapped up in achieving them that I ignore other important things in life と言う表現を使えますね。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
