1、３、5, 7...97 は英語で odd numbers と言います。二つに綺麗に分けられない数字のことです。
odd number = 奇数
even number = 偶数
数字の話の場合は「キリがいい」を a nice round number に訳されることがありますが、私なら even number や a nice even number を言っちゃいます。キリが悪い時は特別な言い方がないと思うので odd number でいいと思います。
仕事の話でしたら bad timing や I'm right in the middle of ... でいいと思います。
例えば、
A: 手伝ってくれる？
B: あ～...ちょっと今キリが悪いので、キリがいいところまでやらせてください。後で行きす。I'm right in the middle of ... so let me finish this/it off first and I'll come and help / You've kinda caught me at a bad time, but let me finish off what I'm doing quickly and I'll come and help / You've caught me at a bad time, but let me get to a good point where I can save my work and I'll come and help
finish off - 終わらせる
right in the middle of - ～の真っ最中
caught me at a bad time - タイミングが悪い
**It's an odd number to stop at.**
**That's not a round number.**
例えば「100で終わるとキリがいいけど、97で止めるのはキリが悪い」と言いたい場合は次のように言います。
- **It's not a round number.**
→「キリのいい数字じゃないね」
"round number" とは「10や100のような区切りのいい数字」のこと。キリが悪いというのは、その逆です。
- **It’s kind of an awkward number.**
→「ちょっと中途半端な数字だね」
"awkward" は「不自然な・しっくりこない」という意味で、数字に使うと「半端で区切りが悪い感じ」が出せます。
